Ellinor chooses to focus on hand-fabricated pieces, meaning that she does not use any casting or other mass production techniques. This means that each piece has been made by Ellinor from beginning to end. The texturing and hammering processes employed also mean that although a design may be produced again each will be different from the last, making it special to the wearer.
Another feature of much of Ellinor's work is that it can be worn in a number of different ways. Ellinor feels that once a piece has left her hands it is up to the wearer to imprint their own style onto it, not to have a prescription placed on how something is to be presented on the body. In this way, the wearer too becomes an artist.
